How much waste should I add?

Does this include installation?

No. The cost estimate covers flooring material only.

How do I calculate floor area?

For a rectangular room, multiply length by width. Split irregular rooms into rectangles and add their areas.

How much extra flooring should I buy?

Five to ten percent is common for straight layouts; diagonal patterns and complex rooms may need 15% or more.

How many boxes of flooring do I need?

Divide the material area including waste by the coverage per box, then round up to a whole box.

Does the cost include installation?

No. It covers the entered material price only.

Should closets be included?

Include any closet or connected area that will receive the same flooring.
